Cook with Aunty Sha is a hands on 10 week cooking course, proven to enhance self-confidence, creativity and a sense of achievement in children (TESTIMONIALS & GALLERY)
What will my children learn?
The course is taught by Shalini Devadhar who has a cert. Le Cordon Bleu. (link to why aunty sha) We expose the children to a range of cuisines including French, Indian, Italian and Aotearoa, and incorporate geography and culture! Children will learn about flavour, colour and texture balance, and hygiene – all while having focused fun!
Though not classical… only microwave, toaster, rice cooker and air fryers are used for health and safety purposes. If heat is required, aunty sha or an adult assistant will conduct that procedure)
we end the course with a graduation ceremony. Our ceremony rewards and recognizes your child for their efforts and achievements. This consolidates the confidence nurtured throughout our ten classes.
